Image Uploaded with ".filepart" Extension

Problem

An image file was uploaded directly to an Image Library host but it shows with a ".filepart" extension in the UI when viewing the Images tab.

Environment

• Platform9 Managed OpenStack - All Versions
• Image Library

Cause

The file upload was interrupted and the full contents of the file were not uploaded. A partial artifact was left behind as a result.

Resolution

1. In Clarity UI, select the checkbox next to the image name.
2. Click "Delete Images".
3. Ensure the image file is cleaned up on the designated path on the Image Library host.
