List Projects For Users

Problem

  • Find out the current project on which user is working.

  • Get a list of projects accesible for the current user or other users.

Environment

  • Platform9 Managed OpenStack All Versions

  • OpenStack CLI

Procedure

Scenario 1:

To find out the current project the environment variable can be used:

$ env | grep -i project_nameOS_PROJECT_NAME=admin

Note: Ensure the correct rc file is sourced.

Scenario 2:

Get a list of projects for the currently authenticated user:

$ openstack project list --my-projects

Scenario 3:

To get a list of projects for other user:

$ openstack project list --user [User_UUID]
