How-To Enable Automatic Confirm Action After Instance Resize Operation

Problem

You want to enable automatic confirmation once the resize operation completes.

Environment

• Platform9 Managed OpenStack - All versions
• Nova

Procedure

1. Add the following property under the DEFAULT stanza to the nova_override.conf file located at /opt/pf9/etc/nova/conf.d on the hypervisor.

[DEFAULT]resize_confirm_window=30

Note: The value 30 represents the number of seconds after which the automatic confirm action will be performed.

2. Restart the pf9-ostackhost service using the following command.
