Problem
One or more instances were provisioned as part of a Server Group which has an affinity or anti-affinity policy applied. Is it possible to toggle this policy or otherwise remove the instance(s) from the group?
Environment
- Platform9 Managed OpenStack - All Versions
- Nova
- Anti-Affinity/Server Groups
Answer
No – the server group would need to be deleted, at which point the instances would no longer be bound by the policy. The policy cannot be changed or otherwise toggled retroactively and individual instance members cannot be removed.
