Problem

The custom monitoring configurations added by the users are getting deleted along with the default monitoring configurations from Platform9, upon disabling the Monitoring addon.

Environment

Platform9 Managed Kubernetes - v5.4 and Higher

Answer

The custom monitoring configs getting deleted while disabling Platform9 monitoring addon is a known behaviour. An internal Jira PMK-5890 is in place to track the solution for this issue in the upcoming PMK release PMK-5.10.
