How to Update User Role in Platform9 Management Plane

Problem

Update User Role in Platform9 Management Plane.

Environment

• Platform9 Managed Plane - v5.5 and Higher.

Procedure

1. Log in to Platform9 Management Plane UI.
2. Navigate to Account Settings __top-right corner in the drop down.
3. Click on Tenants and Users __section in the left pane.
4. Select the radio button of the corresponding user whose role needs to be updated, and click on Edit button.
5. Navigate to Tenants and Roles section.
6. From the drop-down menu select the role to be assigned for the user.
7. Click on Complete button to make the role update effective.

Additional Information

There is a known bug tracked in jira UX-2331. The issue is fixed in the PMK-5.7 release and higher versions.
