Problem

The following error is seen while attempting to launch a Load Balancer in a PMK environment created using the AWS cloud provider.

Error creating load balancer (will retry): failed to ensure load balancer for service default/installments: TooManyLoadBalancers: Exceeded quota of account ... status code: 400, request id:...

Environment

• Platform9 Managed Kubernetes - All Versions
• AWS Cloud Provider

Cause

The Load Balance quota for the linked AWS account has been reached.

Resolution

1. Increase the number of Load Balancers allowed for the AWS account.
2. Delete any of the Load Balancers which have been created manually in the AWS account and are no longer utilized.
