- Platform9 Managed OpenStack - v4.1 and Higher
Answer
- OpenStack itself is unable to control the TLS version of traffic on tenant/provider networks.
- Tenant/Provider networks are configured to allow tenants to establish their own security policies, including encryption mechanisms.
- Typically, the control of TLS versions is managed within the VMs or instances running on those tenant networks.
- With OpenStack configuration, we can only manage the TLS version used for the management plane to host traffic.
